Five per cent, and what that actually means
Percentages are easy to print and hard to verify. Here is the number, what it is a percentage of, and when it moves.
Fizz gives five per cent of revenue back to women's and girls' football at grassroots level. Revenue, not profit — the distinction is the whole point. Profit is a number a business decides on after it has paid itself, and a pledge against profit can quietly become a pledge of nothing.
Five per cent of revenue is five per cent of what you paid, before Fizz covers a single cost. On a €49,95 jersey that is €2,50, and it is the same €2,50 whether the year was good or bad.

Where it goes
Into kit and pitch time for girls' teams in Upper Austria first, because that is where Fizz is and because a claim you can drive to is a claim you can check. Not into a fund, not into a partnership with a logo attached. Kit, registration fees, and hours on a pitch that somebody otherwise has to pay for.
What is not settled yet
Publishing the figures. The honest position today is that Fizz has not sold anything, so there is nothing to publish and a report would be theatre. Once the first drop closes, the amount and the recipients go on this page. If they do not, hold it against us.
